I love to engage people across the university campus and bring teachers and learners from different departments and backgrounds together. Engaging the larger community outside our “ivory towers” (do they exist any more?) is key. Therefore I engage in many outreach events: organizing open houses, inviting high school students to my lab, giving public talks (e.g., TEDx), and joining community events.
